A powerful and at the same time easy-to-drive single-axle drum trailer for transporting and handling of cable drums in sizes K12 to K24. Similar to the 4720 STD but the PP-model is intended to be used together with a free-standing hydraulic power pack that drives the lifting boom and possibly the drum drive (available as an option). Operation then takes place easily via joysticks in the front part of the trailer. This results in an extremely smooth handling of cable drums.
The drum trailer is equipped with braked and sprung axle, push brake and handbrake. As standard, it is also equipped with the required lighting and rear under run protection. The drum shaft comes with two sets of cones and stop rings.
Rolling and unrolling with hydraulic drum drive kit
With a drum drive kit, it is easy to wind in and wind out the cable. The kit is available as an option and is adapted for drum sizes K12-K24. As a drive source, one of the intended hydraulic units is advantageously used together with a hydraulic drive unite. Then the drive of the drum is also controlled from the control panel, where the lifting boom is also operated.
> If you already have a Sahlins drive unit type 2042, it can be used to drive the drum and is then operated directly from the connected drive unit.
Choose type of Powerpack – Battery driven, petrol or diesel
The drum trailer is intended for use with a hydraulic powerpack that acts as a drive source for the control of the lifting boom and possible drum operation. Here you can choose between our classic and robust Powerpack (petrol / diesel) or the new, patented and battery-powered Powerpack 1019.
