Line machine 2042 is a portable machine for running overhead cables and bare wire. The drive unit is integrated with ”deadmans handle” which retains the load when the lever is released. It has a forward and a reverse gear. The machine is easily mounted in the field. Engine with gearbox, pole bracket, rope drum and line spreader as standard. The worm gear holds the load when movement is stopped. It has a forward and reverse gear. The 2042 engine with gearbox is also used as a drive unit for many other Sahlins machines, including drive for cable drum trailers, cable winch 3060, and cable feeder 5050.
