Sahlins cable blowing and floating equipment is designed to feed cables into the protecting duct in an efficent way. With this machine you can either blow or float. The cable is pushed forward by the air driven feeder and the cable is carried forward by air or water. The equipment is delivered with a ground stand, but can also be mounted in Sahlin’s well stand (5060-0310). The machine is also delivered with blow nozzles in different sizes (10-17 mm) and a set of jaws for attaching the hose.
The drive belts are each driven by a separate motor and speed can be regulated. Type 3012 takes the required amount of air directly from the blow chamber and is regulated with a separate pressure regulator for the air motors. This design allows a safe installation of cable in lengths up to several kilometers (depending on ducting, cable and conveying media (compressed air or water).
Power sources
3012 is connected to a compressor with at least 10 bar pressure and flow 10 m3 / min (approx. 130/170 l / sec).
